The starting point
About DemoSelect
DemoSelect provides an online marketplace and coordination platform for demonstrator vehicles offered by participating South African dealerships. Unless expressly stated for a particular service, DemoSelect is not the vehicle seller, supplying dealer, credit provider, insurer, warranty provider or manufacturer. The relevant supplying dealer and third-party provider remain responsible for their own offers, assessments, agreements and regulated activities.
Acceptance and eligibility

By accessing or using the website, you agree to these terms and the policies linked from them.
You must provide information that is accurate, current and not misleading, and update it where a material detail changes.
You may use DemoSelect only for lawful marketplace, buyer, dealer or support purposes and in accordance with applicable South African law.
A dealer, finance provider, insurer or other provider may apply separate terms to its own quotation, assessment, product or agreement.
Published dealer stock
Vehicle Listings & Best Deals
Listings are intended to help buyers discover and compare dealer demonstrator stock.
- Participating dealers supply and manage vehicle identity, specification, mileage, condition, price, availability, images and included-plan information.
- Availability, final specification, condition, accessories, registration status and final transaction price must be confirmed with the supplying dealer.
- “Featured” indicates marketplace prominence and does not by itself amount to a product endorsement.
- A “DemoSelect Verified Deal” reflects the listing information reviewed at the stated time; it is not a guarantee that no lower price exists elsewhere or that the vehicle will remain available.
- Images may be dealer supplied, illustrative or placeholders and should not be treated as the final contractual specification.
Planning information
Prices, Savings & Finance Estimates
Advertised price
Prices are supplied for marketplace display and remain subject to dealer confirmation, availability, disclosed fees and the final written agreement.
Advertised saving
A displayed saving is based on the benchmark information recorded for the listing. Buyers should confirm the basis, included value and comparison date.
Indicative repayment
Calculator and monthly figures are estimates only—not financial advice, a quotation, approval or an offer of credit. A registered credit provider determines final affordability, rate and terms.
From interest to agreement
Quotes, Reservations & Transactions
Website actions move a buyer to the appropriate next stage but do not automatically conclude a vehicle sale.
Quote request
A submitted request authorises DemoSelect to record, qualify and, after the required allocation stage, share the enquiry with the appropriate supplying dealer.
Reservation interest
Selecting Reserve records interest and does not guarantee stock, remove a vehicle from sale, create a deposit obligation or conclude a reservation unless confirmed in a separate written arrangement.
Dealer quotation
The supplying dealer confirms availability, vehicle details, price, disclosed fees, validity period and applicable conditions in its quotation.
Offer to Purchase
Acceptance of a quotation may create or support an Offer to Purchase record. A sale is concluded only when the parties accept the same final agreement and all applicable conditions are satisfied.
Delivery and after-sales matters
The final agreement identifies the responsible dealer or provider for payment, registration, delivery, warranties and related obligations.

DemoSelect may coordinate requested introductions but does not guarantee eligibility, approval, pricing or product suitability.
Protected access
Accounts, Credentials & Portal Use
Keep access secure
Use a strong unique password, protect one-time codes and notify DemoSelect promptly if account access may be compromised.
Authorised users only
Buyer, dealer and administrator portals may be used only by the authorised account holder and for the role assigned to that account.
Dealer responsibilities
Dealers must keep stock and business information accurate, protect buyer information, use it only for the allocated purpose and comply with applicable dealer agreements.
Monitoring and suspension
DemoSelect may record security and audit events and may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate misuse or meet legal duties.

Fair allocation of responsibility
Availability, Warranties & Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
DemoSelect aims to provide a secure, reliable service but does not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, security events and third-party infrastructure may affect access.
The supplying dealer remains responsible for the accuracy of its final vehicle representations and contractual disclosures. DemoSelect may review, correct, suspend or remove marketplace content.
DemoSelect is not responsible for a provider’s independent credit, insurance, warranty, payment, delivery or other regulated decision, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to applicable law, DemoSelect is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from reliance on preliminary marketplace information rather than the final written agreement.
The final production version must be reviewed to ensure every limitation, remedy, cancellation right and dispute process is fair, prominent and consistent with the Consumer Protection Act, Electronic Communications and Transactions Act and other applicable law.
Electronic communications
Notices & Records
You consent to receiving service communications electronically at the contact details you provide. Electronic records, acknowledgements and data messages may be retained for security, audit and transaction purposes. Marketing communications remain subject to consent and opt-out requirements.
Ownership and links
Intellectual Property & Third-Party Sites
- DemoSelect branding, website design, original copy, software and compilations are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.
- You may use the website for personal or authorised business purposes but may not reproduce, sell or commercially exploit protected content without permission.
- Dealers and other licensors retain rights in their supplied marks, vehicle imagery and content.
- External links are provided for convenience. The linked service controls its own content, security, availability and terms.
